We’re looking for aProduction Team Leaderto join our Oriented Strand Board (OSB) mill located in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan. Meadow Lake employs 155 employees and safely and sustainably produces 730 million square feet of OSB every year for customers around the world so they can build their homes and their communities.

Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

• Completion of post-secondary education in Engineering, Wood Sciences, or a related program, an asset.
• Completion of a supervisory or leadershipcertificate, an asset.
• 5 – 7 years experience within a manufacturing setting, with wood products manufacturing preferred.
• Aptitude for production process troubleshooting.
• 5 years experience leading a team.
• Proven ability to coach and mentor a team.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

In this role you will:

• Put Safety first by leading by example and by inspiring and coaching your team so everyone goes home safely.
• Ensure you safely meet production targets,adhere to budgetsand manage staffinglevels.
• Use your solid knowledge of OSB manufacturing and eye for detail to identify and report on any maintenance and safety issues.
• Use Your organizational, planning, and strong communication skills to ensure that you and your team are ready for any challenges that come your way.

• You'll earn an additional northern allowance on top of your base pay.
