Full Job Description

Karrich Industries is seeking Production/Warehouse Personnel to join our team and help improve our warehouse’s upcoming production line while handling warehouse duties in the interim. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual with strong organizational skills, has a positive mindset and likes working in team environments. They must be able to move between multiple job functions throughout the day as required. Production/Warehouse Personnel must be able to handle the production equipment (operation and maintenance), load and unload shipments regularly, with the capability of repetitive heavy lifting, and use any necessary equipment, e.g. forklift, front-end loader, scales etc. Other responsibilities will include the inspection of incoming shipments to verify contents and quality, and, assembling orders from stock.

Production/Warehouse

· Operate and maintain machinery used in final products assembly.

· Meet the deadlines of individual production tasks during shift.

· Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas, with proper use of material handling equipment, such as pallet jack, steel strapping etc.

· Responsible for the proper maintenance and usage of equipment and machinery. Notifies Warehouse Supervisor of anticipated repairs or concerns.

Shipping & Receiving

· Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents

· Understand first-in | first-out method (FIFO)

· Record shortages and reject damaged goods

· Inventory counts

· Pack & unpacking of goods

· Receive returns, count and confirm quantities, determine condition and complete paperwork.

Requirements

· Class 5 license

· Forklift Operator’s Certificate (we can provide)

· Strong work ethic

· Ability to work alone and in teams

· Ability to prioritize tasks and take direction from multiple sources

· Must be able to lift 50 pounds +

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday (8:00am – 4:00pm)

Experience:

• warehouse: 2 years (preferred – not required)
• Forklift: 2 years (preferred – not required)
