Find Your Spot at Humber

At Humber, our career paths open up a world of infinite possibilities for you to explore. People are at the heart of the Humber experience. Here, every day we work shoulder to shoulder to deliver excellence, and in doing so, we redefine what it means to be a leader in polytechnic education. Humber employees are a diverse group of committed, caring and fun-loving people.

Humber College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning, one of Canada’s leading postsecondary institutions, offers a combination of theoretical learning and hands on experience and meets its vision of transforming postsecondary education through global and polytechnic leadership.

Humber’s Centres of Innovation and Entrepreneurship will integrate applied research into program curricula and provide students with access to interdisciplinary and industry projects. We are seeking faculty who will provide students with an exceptional learning experience as we immerse our students in experiential learning and programs that empower them to think critically, make bold choices and become leaders of change.  We take finding and growing the right talent very seriously. We strive to find and nurture extraordinary employees who bring their best each day.

We acknowledge that within higher education in Canada, traditional or conventional academic pathways can reinforce biases in the filling of faculty posts. We encourage applications that may not fit all of the following qualifications and that challenge our ideas of teaching and scholarship. We are particularly interested in colleagues who bring experience in facilitating equity, diversity, and inclusion practices within their teaching and which may include contexts outside of academia, including artistic praxis, collaborative, and community-based work.

If you are interested in working in higher education and are looking to contribute to the largest polytechnic College in Ontario, as we shape the future of our students and communities, here is your opportunity to join our team.
