Job Description

JOB SUMMARY


Responsible for providing administrative support to the Manager Housing Operations, including group communications, time and attendance management, preparing various reports, and financial administration.



QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

  • 2-year post-secondary diploma in Office Administration, Business, or related field

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE

  • 3 years in public administration/senior administrator in a computerized office environment, preferably in Human Services
  • 5 years in public administration/senior administrator in a computerized office environment, preferably in Human Services is preferred
  • Training and experience with Yardi or similar property management software (System administrator and minor coding)
  • Experience with Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing reporting requirements (i.e. Arrears, Occupancy, SMAIR, and KPI data)

SKILLS

  • Excellent phone skills
  • Excellent written and oral communications
  • Bilingual English and French is considered an asset
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access
  • Proficient in databases (queries, forms, and reports) and spreadsheets in a Windows environment
  • Training and/or experience with Yardi including P2P, Voyager12, Interface, Yardi Control Central, and Yardi/PeopleSoft interactions)
  • Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills
