Description

The GOAL of this job is:
    To see young people become interested in skills they havent learned before
    To educate youth on trades - using ones hands and mind to grow technical competency and;
    To demonstrate to the use and implementation of technology in industry through fun and engaging events and programs.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
    Develop and manage program and event plans including budgets, and timelines;
    Facilitate Programs and Events at numerous locations throughout Saskatchewan
    Represent organization in exhibitor and promotional opportunities to promote programs;
    Respond to inquiries from educators and industry partners about Programs and Events;
    Evaluate and prepare reports on Programs and Events;
    Responsible for general administrative duties and record keeping;
    Manage inventory, including program materials and promotional items;
    Coordinate packaging and shipping of materials;
    Prepare quarterly e-newsletter
    Review and update SCS website with new events, sponsor logos and minor edits
    Manage and upload photos and images to SCS Flikr page
    Prepare SCS year-end report to the community
    Work collaboratively with team to develop new marketing and promotional material as required
    Work directly with SCS graphic design contractor to ensure brand compliance
    Assist with social media as required
    Assist with SCS flagship event  the Skills Canada Saskatchewan Provincial competition
    Manage details for Closing Award Ceremony, catering, school tours promotion and registration, competitor registration, co-ordinate volunteers and their duties
    Assist Executive Director in implementation of annual programming
    Responsible to ensure sponsor and partner recognition and stewardship for all events, working directly with Executive Director
    Assist with the planning and coordination of Team Saskatchewans in the Skills Canada National Competition, including going to the competition to support Team Saskatchewan
