The Project Control Officer will perform one or more of the many ongoing PMO processes and methodologies within RBC. It includes managing and tracking of the overall portfolio financials, management of action items, issues and risks, change requests, logging inter project dependencies, and document and communications management duties at the portfolio and program or project level.
What will you do?

  • Monitors, documents and supports program Cost/Financial Management control processes for the programs and the overall portfolio.

  • Assist in the development and analysis of financial forecast reporting (e.g., identify tracking variances, integrate risks / issues with financial forecasting)

  • Assist in the collection and analysis of contractor/vendor timesheets and invoices.

  • Responsible for portfolio and program level reporting, including providing assistance to Program Leadership team in preparing project/program presentations, status updates, meeting agendas & minutes, communications, and ad hoc reporting as required.

  • Promoting standardization across teams & project - reporting, project governance, estimation etc.

    What do you need to succeed?
    Must-have

    • 1-2 years of relevant experience

    • Experience in a similar role supporting program/ portfolio management.

    • Proficiency in MS Excel
