We are looking for a Project Coordinator to join our team in St. John’s, NL. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and detail oriented.
Position Responsibilities
● Manage the shop drawing review process.
● Prepare for and participate in meetings with the project team and subcontractors.
● Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers regarding change requests, design revisions, RFIs, RFQ, etc.
● Monitoring of daily tasks and creating/updating of daily reports.
● Maintain Request for Information (RFI), Change Order (CO) logs, Site Instructions, etc.
● Coordinate and track material deliveries.
● Assist with the coordination of inspections with Authority’s Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) and Consultant Team.
● Assist with the organisation of site logistics.
● Organize reports, invoicing, contracts and other financial documentation for easy access.
● Ordering of material/equipment for project.
● Assign and follow-ups regarding trade deficiencies through project and closeout.
● Ensure team members have the supplies and resources they need to complete their assigned tasks on time and within budget means.
● Liaise with design teams for product deliveries and changes.
● Support HSE related functions.
● Assist with quality control program where required.
● Develop positive relationships with trades and suppliers to ensure smooth field operations.
Desired Skills & Experience:
● 5-7 years of experience in a commercial or multi-resident project environment.
● Understanding of applicable health & safety and construction-related legislation.
● Strong interpersonal skills.
● Proficient with email, MS Excel, MS Word, etc.
● Proficient with cloud based construction management software.
● Proficient in interpreting drawings and specifications.
● Excellent organizational skills with attention to accuracy, detail, and deadlines.
● High standards of ethics, integrity, and safety at all times.
