Project Manager, Long Term Care Operations (New Developments)

The Regional Manager (Re)Development will be responsible for managing the development and rejuvenation of existing and future Jarlette Health Services projects. This position is ideal for someone who has Project Management experience in new Long Term Care (LTC) Home openings/renovations, is a hands-on leader with high attention to detail and is willing to travel and/or temporarily relocate to developing sites. The Regional Manager will report directly to the Director of Long Term Care and the Construction Project Manager who oversee all of the Jarlette Health Services existing and potential projects.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Must possess a post-secondary degree from a program that is a minimum of three years in duration, or a post-secondary diploma in health or social services from a program minimum of two years in duration or be grandfathered as required under the Fixing Long Term Care Act, 2021, ss 76 (1) and Ontario Regulation ss. 249/22 (3,4)
• A minimum of three years working experience in a managerial or supervisory experience in health or social services or in a regulated service environment.
• Comprehensive understanding of, development management, procurement, approvals processes, and construction through to new home opening and customer care.
• Disciplined individual with a reputation as a team player and collaborator who knows how to get things done on time and within budget
• Is a creative problem-solver who knows when to act independently yet consults the senior management team when necessary and well in advance of crisis situations with foresight and integrity
• Must possess a valid drivers license and be willing to travel extensively and/or temporarily relocate depending on the needs of the project.
• Must have excellent time management skills and be able to organize multiple projects at one time.
• Demonstrated leadership and communication skills
• Must demonstrate an active interest in ongoing education
• Must be computer literate
