Project Team Lead

Fil-Trek Corporation is a leading manufacturer of industrial filtration equipment for customers around the globe. Our products are designed and manufactured at our Cambridge, ON facility.

We are seeking an experienced Project Team Lead who will be the primary point-person responsible for planning, executing, and delivering corporate projects on time, within budget, and in accordance with design specifications.

The Project Team Lad will work very closely with senior management to define project requirements and scope, acquire project resources, and supervise the efforts of Project Team members. Efficient delivery of project deliverables, effective quality control, clear communication of expectations to stakeholders, and upward reporting to senior management are critical tasks that must be performed throughout each project's lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire lifecycle of the company's project portfolio, ranging from strategic planning initiatives to tactical activities.
• Meeting with project clients to assess their needs and define project requirements, acceptance criteria and project timelines.
• Monitoring the daily progress of all projects.
• Providing detailed updates to management and/or other stakeholders.
• Ensuring team members have the supplies and resources they need to complete their assigned tasks on time and within their budget limits.
• Assign tasks to team members and help them understand what’s expected from them in terms of project milestones and deliverables.
• Be the liaison between the Project Team and project clients throughout the project life cycle.
• Schedule stakeholder meetings, document and generate reports.
• Foster cross-team collaboration to help Project Team members complete project tasks and produce deliverables.

Qualifications

• University or College Education or a combination of education and or experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of direct work experience in project coordination in the manufacturing industry.
• Demonstrated success in project delivery and execution of project management methods.
• Direct experience with ERP system preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Thorough understanding of the business and supply chain.
• Must be a self-starter and be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
