Propane Technician

We are currently recruiting for the position of Propane Technician.

Position Overview

The Propane Technician is responsible for delivering high quality workmanship to our current and future clients.

Requirements

• Perform the duties of a G1 Gas Technician in the service and installation department.
• Installing, troubleshooting and repairing all forms of propane equipment.
• Assisting clients with understanding the safety features, operation and maintenance requirements of all types of propane equipment.
• Completing daily work orders and paperwork accurately and in a timely fashion.
• Candidate should have extensive servicing, troubleshooting and installation experience with gas fired boilers and furnaces, pumping equipment, vaporizers, kitchen equipment, and commercial HVAC equipment.
• Candidate should have strong safety mentality as well as a clean criminal background and driving record.
• Requires extensive knowledge of propane codes and regulations as well as a desire to continue learning.
• This highly motivated person should possess a strong work ethic, above average organizational ability and excellent customer service skills as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Job Location

This position is based in Charlottetown, PEI but will cover the entire province.

Required Experience

G1 Gas Technician: 3-5 years minimum

Required Certifications

PEI Class “D” Propane license with “L” liquid Endorsement (or the ability to acquire)

Or

G1 Gas Certification

Class 5 Drivers license

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $35.00-$42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
