The Friends is recruiting Independent Living Assistants in the Muskoka area for travel to Bracebridge, Port Sydney and Huntsville in our Respite and Outreach programs. Independent Living Assistants provide service to individuals with physical disabilities and/or seniors by supporting them in their home with personal care, activities of daily living and encouraging/facilitating client ability to gain/maintain independence.
Some of the things we are looking for in the successful candidate are:
* PSW or equivalent
* the ability to work both with direction and independently
* strong verbal and written communication skills
* sound judgement and discretion in confidential matters
* experience and willingness to work as a team member
* excellent physical strength and stamina
* must have reliable vehicle & valid drivers license, travel is required
*willing to drive in the Bracebridge, Huntsville and surrounding areas.

Salary: $22.00-$24.91 per hour
