Psychologist/Psychological Associate, in Supervised Practice

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Psychologist/Psychological Associate, in Supervised Practice, (PSP) at CDL & Associates in Batawa, ON. Part-time hours may be negotiated, with a minimum of 20 hours of work.

The PSP will be responsible for:

- performing supervised psychological assessments, including administering, and scoring tests

- report writing

- providing therapeutic intervention to clients

- maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records,

They will also collaborate with other mental health professionals and participate in treatment planning meetings. The PSP will stay current with advancements in the field of psychology through ongoing professional development

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology
• Working toward registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario
• Experience in conducting psychological assessments, including intelligence, clinical, and personality testing (may include graduate work)
• Experience in providing individual counselling under the supervision of a registered psychologist (may include graduate work)
• Knowledge of evidence-based psychotherapy modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adhere to ethical and professional standards
• Fluency in English; knowledge of French and other languages is an asset

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract

Salary: $50.00-$100.00 per hour
