Public Area's Attendant-Evening

We are accepting applications for an Evening Public Areas Attendant. Job hours are 3pm-11 pm , 2-4 evenings per week with every second weekend off. Job duties include the cleaning and maintaining of all public areas- hallways, elevators, pool area, lobby area, meeting rooms, public washrooms ,offices etc. Occasionally a meeting room will require set up and tear down. You will also be required to deliver any room service bar orders ( beer or wine) and you will be required to take a Alcohol Awareness course on line, therefore applicants must be over 19 years of age and the course is provided for you. As well, you will be responsible to respond to any guest requests ( extra blankets, cots, extra towels etc). There are various other duties such as taking the garbage out to the dumpster, handling the recyclables, helping in laundry, and helping in rooms if needed. In the winter there will be some snow blowing/shoveling required and in summer- lawn mowing and yard care. This is a physically demanding position and successful applicant must be physically capable of lifting up to 25 lbs, standing and walking for extended periods of time, reaching, pulling, lifting, pushing carts etc. Training will be provided. Successful applicant must have a friendly helpful attitude and enjoy dealing with the public.
