Job purpose
To maintain our impeccable cleanliness standards in both Public Spaces and guest rooms. Enhancing the experience of every guest + member of our worldclass resort
Duties and responsibilities
· Shift is typically 11am – 7pm
· Clean and sanitize Public Spaces, guest rooms and cottages
· Vacuum carpets in common areas and ensure all spaces are kept clean and organized
· Provide evening turndown service to guest rooms
· Make beds and change linen in guest rooms
· Clean and sanitize bathrooms, showers, toilets, sinks and counter-tops
· Replenish towels and toiletries and room supplies such as drinking glasses, soaps & shampoo
· Ensure all appliances and amenities are in good working order
· Wash, Dry, Fold and put away laundry (Inn, F&B, Spa) in proper locations
· Ironing linen
· Maintain a neat and professional appearance based upon a required dress code
· Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to Maintenance Manager
· Understand oral and written instructions
· Carry out porter services during the evening (provide towels, ice, room service, etc)
· Willing to learn and practice new cleaning techniques and procedures
· Comfortable with guest interaction
· Team player. Willing to assist other departments as needed
· Time management skills
· Knowledge of all Cobble Beach amenities and the core values of our organization
· Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
· 1 year housekeeping and laundry experience at a resort property
· Must have reliable transportation to and from work
· Able to work weekends, weekdays, evenings and holidays
· Must be able to work alone and unsupervised
Working conditions
· Have a medium to high level of social contact with guests and managers
· Must work in a time sensitive atmosphere with ability to meet daily and weekly deadlines
Physical requirements
· Constant standing and walking throughout shift
· Housekeeping is a very physically demanding position. Duties include repetitive bending, pulling, carrying, lifting and heavy pulling (up to 50 lbs.)

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 7 months
Salary: $16.55-$18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
