Total Compensation


  • Annual base Salary of $59,000.00 to $70,000.00
  • 4% Annual Bonus based on personal and corporate performance.
  • 3 weeks’ vacation + 5 personal/Sick days + company determined floater days.

Job Purpose


The main objective is to keep production running efficiently (by stocking appropriate parts and supplies), spend company’s money judiciously, and follow company policies regarding purchasing and preferred suppliers. Working as a team with all site personnel including maintenance, warehouse, accounting, and production departments.

Key Responsibilities


  • Ensure adequate stock levels to ensure production targets can be achieved.
  • Creation, implementation, and compliance of internal Procurement Policies
  • Follow purchasing lead times to align with organizational objectives.
  • Maintenance of all procurement system updates including but not limited to lead times, vendors, and price changes.
  • Communicate all delays to impacted teams to ensure that Leaders can effectively respond to the needs of the customers.
  • Communicate with Lab for any material substitutions for production requirements and vendor delays.
  • Review lead times, safety stock balances, and forecast demand to evaluate increases needed to safety stock and request approvals/input as required.
  • Reception and administrative functions for the Port Hope site.

Job Requirements


  • Relevant College/University Diploma or 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of inventory and supply chain management.
  • Has strong time management skills with procurement experience using an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and demonstrated ability in Excel and manipulating spreadsheets.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Outstanding organization skills.
  • Experience working in accounting in a Manufacturing environment is an asset.
  • Bilingual French/English is an asset.
