As a Purchaser, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process, optimizing inventory levels, and ensuring the timely delivery of products.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Purchaser. As a Purchaser, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process, optimizing inventory levels, and ensuring the timely delivery of products.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and analyze current inventory levels and sales trends to determine upcoming purchasing needs.

Create and manage purchase orders.

Conduct forecasting based on historical data.

Implement cost-saving strategies to improve and optimize purchasing processes.

Coordinate shipments with freight forwarders and track deliveries.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline purchasing processes and improve communication and coordination across departments.

Maintain precise and comprehensive records of purchases, pricing, and cross-check documents to ensure accuracy.

Stay informed about industry developments, product changes, and regulatory updates that may impact purchasing decisions.

Monitor and manage shipping expenses within budget constraints.

Establish and maintain close relationships with suppliers.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a procurement or purchasing role

Excellent in applying forecasting methods to predict the demand.

Strong technical skills in data analysis, reporting, and software integration.

Excellent communication and negotiation and problem-solving abilities.

Proven track record of successfully implementing cost-saving strategies and improving purchasing efficiency.

Proficiency with inventory management software, such as QuickBooks is required.

Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively

Knowledge of industry trends, incoterms, regulations and pricing fluctuations.

Experience with managing inventory discrepancies and conducting audits.

Familiarity with APIs, connectors, and integration tools.

French is an asset.
