I'm assisting one of our customers in the personal services sector, located in downtown Montreal, in their search for a purchasing and Procurement Manager.
Under the supervision of the Assistant General Manager, the incumbent is responsible for planning, evaluating and managing the entire purchasing and procurement process for all equipment, products and resale merchandise for all our teams.
Main responsibilities :
-Responsible for the annual planning of the company's purchasing and supply needs;
-Manage and supervise the performance of the Purchasing Coordinator;
-Collaborate with internal teams to provide them with the work tools and parts they need to keep their facilities running smoothly;
-Responsible, with the support of the Purchasing Coordinator, for determining weekly requirements for various products and ordering them from our various partners using ''P.O'';
-Responsible for managing special projects with a view to continuously improving the customer experience;
-Follow-up on deliveries to ensure that agreed deadlines are met;
-Receive orders to ensure inventory integrity, inventory products and enter data into the ResortSuite computer system (new products, price adjustments, code changes);
-Coordinate the return of merchandise to the supplier concerned and obtain appropriate credit or replacement;
-Responsible for approving invoices received and sending to accounting for payment. In the event of billing errors, follow up with the partner concerned and make adjustments according to agreements;
-Analyze sales variations of boutique products and submit a monthly report to general management in order to optimize sales.
-Manage, negotiate and follow up on various agreements and service contracts with suppliers and partners;
-Propose and develop new ideas for cost reduction and continuous improvement of the procurement process;
-Responsible for site signage in close collaboration with the marketing department: vinyl, aluminum signs, etc;
-Responsible for cell phone contracts for accounts associated with the company;
-Responsible for issuing parking stickers;
-Make various outside purchases.

Skills required:
-Five to seven years' experience in a similar position (similar industry an asset).
-Minimum of one year experience in team management;
-College diploma (or equivalent) in administration, supply management or related field.
-Excellent oral and written French and English, with strong writing skills;
-Excellent command of Microsoft Office Suite software, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
PROCESS: Initial interview with Gabriel Lemoine, Fed Supply Recruitment Consultant - followed by an interview with the company's Human Resources Manager and Position Manager.
