Resolution Staffing Inc. working in partnership with our client in the Northumberland area is currently seeking a full-time permanent Purchasing and Inventory Supervisor.

Responsibilities:
- Supporting production schedules for manufacturing to meet the shipping date according to sales
- Supervise inventory control, purchasing of raw materials
- Establish relationships
- Develop and implement inventory management strategies and procedures
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock levels are maintained
- Oversees the purchasing function & drives cost reduction opportunities

- Maintain and track KPI's with anticipating/ correcting/ communicating trends with would compromise achievement of targets
- Analyze data and generate reports on inventory performance and trends Develop and implement inventory management strategies and procedures
- Oversee the entire inventory process, including forecasting, planning, and ordering
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock levels are maintained
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure accurate inventory counts and data
- Conduct regular audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Build and direct a high performing team that consistently meets or exceeds expectations by assuring process compliance, ensuring appropriate training and feedback, increasing team aptitude to seek and utilize better forecasting and product replenishment.
- Implement Root-Cause Corrective Actions as required to ensure the highest quality standards are maintained.
Requirements:
Five (5) years experience in inventory control, material planning, and supplier negotiations.
- Completed post secondary education in Supply Chain, Inventory Management, or equivalent work experience
- As a supervisor, you have 5+ years experience in a supervisory role
- Ability to utilize and train direct employees on technology, processes, and procedures
- Capable to effectively manage and execute multiple tasks, projects, and priorities
- ERP software knowledge and experience
- Experience in a manufacturing environment – Plastic processing an asset
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Communicate with clarity in all situations including written, verbal and team settings
- Experience using Microsoft Office, including the ability to create reports, documents, presentations, pivot tables and spreadsheets in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
