Summary:

The Quality Assurance Auditor is responsible for overseeing the workflow of Quality Inspectors. This individual under the direction of the Quality Supervisor ensures safety and quality is prioritized during production.

Accountabilities:

• Identify and document quality and production process deficiencies
• Assist with immediate corrective actions on-site as necessary
• Investigate consumer/customer complaints, facilitate root cause solutions, and communicate the results to supervisor.
• Train and coach production operators on the Quality Acceptance Criteria and alerts
• Inspect daily production to ensure compliance to quality standards and sign off containers after thorough inspection of both parts and the associated documentation
• Complete and maintain Quality documents; policies, procedures, logs, and records as required.
• Support production and provide leadership as required
• In case of a quality deviation assist product recovery, withdrawal and/or recall.
• Carry out Calibrations as scheduled by the quality supervisor
• Conducting line checks on the process variables to assure operating standards are being met. Inspects part on operating machinery and equipment periodically and specifically after repairs are made to ensure that it’s running according to specifications.
• Inspect, sign off and verify production
• Maintains working relationships with all employees to minimize morale issues and grievances and Mediates labor issues.
• Responsible for recording key performance indicators for the quality department and assist the supervisor in the development of department procedures and systems based on the indicators.

Education/Experience:

• A minimum bachelor’s degree in Applied Science, Engineering, or related background.
• 1 years prior Quality Assurance experience working for a product manufacturer.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills, and well-versed experience in Microsoft Office.
