Quality Assurance Lab Technician

Adecco is currently seeking a dedicated full-time Quality Assurance Lab Technician to join the team of one of the world's largest agricultural processors and food ingredient providers in Winnipeg, MB. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting quality control analyses on various wheat, flour milling, and shipping samples in a safe manner. This position requires a minimum of 4 months of experience in a QC lab environment, strong communication skills, and the ability to work full-time hours.

• Conduct safe analysis, calculation, and reporting of data on wheat, flour milling, and shipping samples
• Collaborate effectively with plant peers, management, customers, suppliers, and laboratory personnel
• Maintain accurate logs of all relevant information and process data accordingly
• Demonstrate flexibility in managing job functions within specified timelines
• Adhere to all instructions and guidelines to complete assigned tasks
• Perform additional duties as assigned

• Post-secondary education in food chemistry or related field
• Minimum of 4 months of experience in a QC lab environment
• Experience with H.A.C.C.P. and Food Safety is an asset
• Familiarity with AACC methods, Brabender, NIR equipment, and flour milling is advantageous
• Proficiency in computer spreadsheets and data management
• Availability for day and evening shifts
• Self-motivated with the ability to multitask and work independently or as part of a team
• Legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
