1.Reporting to the Supervisor, Quality Assurance:

• Respect for compliance and quality of factory activities.
• Acts rigorously in his main functions while respecting the procedures for which he is responsible.
• Ensures compliance with standard operating procedures for all sectors of the plant's activities.


2. Main functions

• Performs quality verification of electronic batch files executed by the production plant.
• Ensures the release of finished products and printed packaging components.
• Ensures follow-up of investigations and treatment of non-conformities until definitive resolution of the problem with experts from various sectors of the factory. Ensures appropriate and effective corrective/preventive action measures are included and performs final quality disposition of the investigation.
• Participates in the implementation of internal quality procedures.
• Participates in the implementation of the GMP training program for new employees.
• Participates in internal quality audits.
• Ensures quality support within the Production departments.
• Ensures the management of official samples for finished products.
• Applies HSE policies on a daily basis, proposes and determines HSE problems.

 

3. Main professional relationships

• Provides a quality advisory role in terms of good manufacturing practices for Production departments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with all plant departments


4. Knowledge and skills required:

a) Training required

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy or Biological sciences, or having equivalent experience with a college diploma in science.

b) Languages

Excellent written and spoken communications in French and English

c) Special experience and knowledge

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical environment
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance and/or Quality Control

d) Specific technical skills

• Excellent knowledge of Canadian, American and international GMP regulations.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical product production processes
• Good document management
