Working with Richardson opens the door to a world of possibility. We currently have an opportunity for a Quality Assurance Supervisor at our Portage la Prairie, MB location. The Quality Assurance Supervisor is responsible to effectively execute the sanitation, quality and food safety programs to ensure all products produced at this location meet customer and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and supervision to the lab technicians and plant sanitarians
  • Manage the HACCP, GMP, food safety, sanitation, pest management and Quality Assurance programs
  • Assist in training all plant personnel in HACCP, GMP, food safety, and Quality Assurance programs
  • Remain current on third party audits, government, and customer standards as they pertain to HACCP, GMP, food safety, sanitation, pest management and Quality Assurance programs
  • Ensure all in-process and finished products meet internal and external specifications
  • Assist in regulatory, customer and third party audits
  • Assist in development/maintenance of specifications for finished products and raw materials
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a food processing environment
  • Strong computer skills
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Solid leadership skills
