Quality Management System Technician

Location: Scarborough, ON Canada (Remote)

Job Position Description:
The individual in this position will be responsible for customer quality for Canadian customers.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist with management of customer complaints, including customer containment.
  • Provide source inspection services for Canada.
  • Manage and use audit and complaint data to support continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate necessary documentation for the support of QMS in SKF digital systems.
  • Act as subject matter expert in Intelex documentation to support NAM and LAM teams with enquiries related to QMS.
  • Support Group Quality with digital training (self-paced learning material) to improve the end user experience with Intelex-Tieto and other digital initiatives.
  • Maintain and enhance the Quality Communication site in Spider for the Americas.
  • Support specific improvement projects assigned by Quality Managers in NAM.
  • Support packaging needs and customer’s requirements for Canada IM Sales.
  • Act as SQA for IM Sales Suppliers in Canada.
  • Support CoNQ for Canadian suppliers handled by IM Sales NAM.

Job Education & Experience:

  • Associate’s degree in Engineering or technical equivalent, or equivalent practical experience and specialized training.
  • One to three years of experience in a manufacturing/metal removal environment.
