The Community Networker will be responsible for supporting the success of students
and parents within the Dauphin Regional Comprehensive Secondary School. This position will help facilitate
presence and engagement at school.
- 0.5 FTE, 3.5 hrs per day, mornings only
- Monday to Friday
- Coordinator of Indigenous Education
Start Date: Immediate
End Date: June 28, 2024
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Grade 12 education
Previous experience working with First Nations youth and families
Reliable transportation and a valid class 5 driver's license
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
A minimum two (2) years post-secondary education in the Human Services Field would be consider an
asset
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team member, work cooperatively with school-based
teams and accept direction from professional staff
Ability to network with community organizations
Network with Indigenous and non-Indigenous organizations within school communities
Flexible to work independently with minimal supervision
Experience providing training, information and workshops regarding career planning, cultural
awareness etc.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and clearly in an oral & written format
Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect privacy
