Rapid Access Mental Health Counsellor

CFS is seeking a Rapid Access Mental Health Counsellor, who will be responsible for overseeing our single session, solution focused modality that matches individuals with counselling sessions as quickly and conveniently as possible. We are seeking a candidate who is innovative in their thought process with a good tool box full of counselling techniques that are client centered and strengths based. The ability to work with adults of all ages, cultures and gender identities with a scope of knowledge in a variety of human needs and complexities is critical. This position requires that you are able to think on your feet, mitigate crisis and provide non-judgmental, progressive and empathetic counselling sessions. Ability to contribute to a solution-focused team environment is essential. The successful candidate will be adaptable in approach, well organized and proficient in time-management, workload prioritization and self-directed work planning.

CFS Regina is not a faith-based organization and does not deliver any faith-based programs and services. The organization is currently in the final stages of a organizational rebrand to better reflect our programs & services, staff, and the community we serve. New staff, including this position, will play an important role in this exciting transition and next phase of our organizations service delivery model, program development, and community engagement/relationship building strategy.

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, and have professional licensure in good standing with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers. A valid Drivers license and reliable vehicle required as some travel for community outreach and connection is a requirement of this role. Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
