Job description
We are currently seeking English speaking teachers and assistant teachers, to provide one-on-one tutoring for students in the greater Ottawa area. Training in an Orton-Gillingham based program will be provided for eligible candidates. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the Barton Reading and Spelling program. Patience, humour, and a sincere desire to help struggling students is essential. Tutoring is virtual and/or in person, reliable transportation is a must. ***urgent need for tutors in the Westboro area***
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Salary: $27.00-$40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 6 – 20 per week
