Ready Mix Driver

Ready Mix Truck Driver JOB# JCL068

JCL Investments Inc. is looking for motivated and experienced Drivers to join our team at our Concrete Operations at our Conception Bay South location. The Driver will be responsible for delivering product to customers in a safe and timely manner and for providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

· Operate ready-mix truck in a safe and efficient manner.

· Deliver ready-mix concrete to customer locations throughout St. John’s and surrounding areas.

· Conduct pre and post trip inspections noting and explaining defects or deficiencies to supervisor.

· Perform regular maintenance and upkeep of truck and equipment.

· Adhere to all health and safety regulations and safe work practices specified by federal, provincial and company rules.

· Provide consistent and reliable customer service.

· Perform other plant and yard duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

· Valid Class 3 Driver's License with air brake endorsement

· Clean Driver’s abstract

· Valid Power Line Hazards training

· Knowledge of Ready-Mix Operations

· Preference will be given to candidates with experience operating a mixer truck

· Good customer service skills

Salary: From $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
