Real Estate Photographer (Contract Position) – Nanaimo and the Cowichan Valley

Location: Nanaimo, extending to Lake Cowichan and Mill Bay.
Type: Contractor; Part to Full-Time/Seasonal
Compensation: Dependant on experience
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM with potential overtime during the busy season (March to October)
Start Date: As soon as possible

Responsibilities:

• Perform professional photo and video shoots of properties and their surroundings, utilizing both camera and gimbal equipment.
• Manage travel efficiently to various locations, with mileage reimbursement from the moment you leave your home.
• Process, organize, and ensure the high-quality presentation of photos and videos.
• Provide exceptional service, maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor with clients.

Requirements:

• MUST already live in or near Nanaimo or the Cowichan Valley, with the ability to cover specified areas and have a sound knowledge of the region.
• Own vehicle for travel (mileage reimbursed).
• Valid Class 5/7(N) BC Driver's Licence.
• Strong background in photography and videography, especially in Real Estate settings.
• Proficiency in camera and gimbal operation, Photoshop, video editing software, Mac OS, and iPhone OS.
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
• Independent work ethic with problem-solving skills.
• Physical capability to handle equipment and navigate varied environments.
• Drone operation experience is a plus.
