Giant Tiger Wholesale is looking to hire a permanent Receiving Container Associate for our fully automated 660,000 square foot distribution centre in Johnstown, ON! Receiving Container Associate Highlights:

• Assisting lumpers in unloading containers using a low lift double pallet jack;
• Assist receivers in the offloading and sorting of receiving goods based process;
• Run receiving pallets from the Receiving Dock to cross aisle locations or drive in rack locations;
• Assist in organization and tidiness of the dock areas (basic clean up, ensuring supply of empty pallets, store dunnage, etc.) in accordance with company standards;
• Repack and container unloading as necessary;
• Lift boxes ranging 1 - 50 pounds;
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS Standards

Receiving Container Associate Job Requirements:

• Completion of High School.
• Experience as an Order Picker or a similar position.
• Must be capable of standing and walking for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift heavy items for extended periods of time.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Basic PC skills.
• Voice picking or Manhattan Warehouse Management System experience is an asset.
• Successful candidates must be in good standing for both performance and health & safety.

Receiving Container Associate Schedule:

• Tuesday to Saturday from 3:00pm - 11:30pm
