Location: Fort McMurray, Alberta

Our real estate client is looking for temporary Reception/First Impressions coverage for their Fort McMurray office. This coverage is typically for a few days, or a few weeks and comes up on a need-be basis. 

This person will be the first point of contact, handling phone calls from brokers and all other general requests and inquiries. Required is someone who is self-directed – they will monitor and manage supply orders (if needed), keep everything stocked and tidy, and ensure the office is running smoothly at all times.

The ideal candidate will be personable, have great communication and customer service skills, and be eager to step in where needed with a friendly and positive attitude. Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with document scanning is required.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

The key job functions are:

  • Answering and responding to calls and emails
  • Greeting and welcoming visitors into the building
  • Ordering supplies and keeping a running inventory
  • Light cleaning and upkeep of front desk, kitchen, coffee stations, etc.
  • Providing general administrative support as needed

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years’ reception/administrative experience is required
  • Real estate experience is considered a huge asset

  • Personable, enthusiastic, and professional
  • Customer service orientated
  • Excellent communication, written and verbal
  • Ability to work effectively autonomously
  • Impeccable attention to detail and organization

Base Salary: $18 per hour

Work Hours:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Remote Work:

  • This position is not remote and required to be on-site.

Additional Notes:

  • This opportunity does not include relocation. It will be the responsibility of the candidate should relocation be required.
