Job Description:

Town of Inuvik is looking for a temporary full-time(until December 31st, 2025, with possible extension), experienced Receptionist & Lotteries Officer to join our team. The Receptionist/Lotteries Officer is a multi-functional role responsible for handling cash, issuing lottery licenses, and providing receptionist and secretarial support to all Town Office staff. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate recording of all cash receipts and maintaining precise lottery records.

Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
  • Proficient in basic computer applications such as MS Office
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Understanding of the cultural and political dynamics of the North

Equivalencies recognizing related education and experience may be considered.

This position offers a competitive salary range of approx. $60,154.58 and $82,448.93 per annum, with an additional Northern Allowance of $14,661.00 per annum.
