Job Overview:

We are seeking a versatile and organized individual to join our team as a
Receptionist and Moodle Coordinator. In this dual role, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring a positive and professional impression of our organization. Additionally, you will take on the responsibility of coordinating activities within the Moodle learning management system to support our educational programs.

Responsibilities:

1. Receptionist:

  • Greet and welcome visitors with a warm and professional demeanor.
  • Manage incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized front desk area.
  • Handle general inquiries and provide basic information about the organization.
  • Receive and distribute incoming mail and packages.
  • Assist in scheduling and coordinating meetings and appointments.

2. Moodle Coordinator:

  • Administer the organization's Moodle platform, ensuring smooth functioning and user accessibility.
  • Collaborate with educators to upload course content, assignments, and assessments onto Moodle.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot technical issues within the Moodle system.
  • Provide training and support to faculty and students on Moodle usage.
  • Ensure that Moodle content aligns with educational objectives and standards.
  • Regularly update and maintain user accounts and course enrollments.
  • Collaborate with IT support to address technical concerns related to Moodle.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar customer-facing role.
  • Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 2 years diploma in IT.
  • Familiarity with office equipment, including phone systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Experience with learning management systems, preferably Moodle.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently.
  • Exceptional multitasking and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency in IT skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with educational technology and software.
