Job Overview:
We are seeking a versatile and organized individual to join our team as a
Receptionist and Moodle Coordinator. In this dual role, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring a positive and professional impression of our organization. Additionally, you will take on the responsibility of coordinating activities within the Moodle learning management system to support our educational programs.
Responsibilities:
1. Receptionist:
- Greet and welcome visitors with a warm and professional demeanor.
- Manage incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a tidy and organized front desk area.
- Handle general inquiries and provide basic information about the organization.
- Receive and distribute incoming mail and packages.
- Assist in scheduling and coordinating meetings and appointments.
2. Moodle Coordinator:
- Administer the organization's Moodle platform, ensuring smooth functioning and user accessibility.
- Collaborate with educators to upload course content, assignments, and assessments onto Moodle.
- Monitor and troubleshoot technical issues within the Moodle system.
- Provide training and support to faculty and students on Moodle usage.
- Ensure that Moodle content aligns with educational objectives and standards.
- Regularly update and maintain user accounts and course enrollments.
- Collaborate with IT support to address technical concerns related to Moodle.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar customer-facing role.
- Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 2 years diploma in IT.
- Familiarity with office equipment, including phone systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of organization and attention to detail.
- Experience with learning management systems, preferably Moodle.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently.
- Exceptional multitasking and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in IT skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Familiarity with educational technology and software.
