Job description

Overview:
Richmond Clinical Trials is seeking a highly motivated and upbeat Receptionist/Research Assistant to join our team in Richmond, BC. Responsibilities include managing the day-to-day reception duties in our fast-paced clinic environment as well as conducting memory assessments, data entry, scheduling, maintaining files, and assisting the research team with administrative tasks. As the first point of contact for the company, we’re seeking a candidate who will have a positive attitude, a desire to work as efficiently as possible, and excellent communication skills.

This is a full-time position that will be based at our site in Richmond, B.C.

Responsibilities:
  • Greeting patients
  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable
  • Answering screening and forwarding incoming phone call
  • Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries
  • Scheduling patient appointments
  • Patient Recruitment
  • Reminder calls
  • Data Entry
  • Ordering and maintaining office supplies
  • Office errands
  • Bank deposits
  • Filing, photocopying, and faxing
  • Sanitization and kitchen duties
  • Verify entries for accuracy and completeness
  • Respond to automatic system-generated queries
  • Relay all other queries to appropriate study coordinator
  • Conduct memory assessments

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma
  • College courses in secretarial skills/office administration is a bonus
  • 1-2 years of experience in office administration
  • Pleasant, friendly disposition
  • Outstanding phone etiquette
  • Ability to work well under limited supervision
  • Strong interpersonal, problem solving, organizational and communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook
  • Knowledge of operating standard office equipment
