Receptionist/Optometric Assistant

The Eye Centre provides quality eye care for patients in Fort McMurray, Drayton Valley, Leduc, Prince Albert and now Yorkton! We offer a full range of vision services for eye health needs, including comprehensive eye examinations for the entire family. By continuously innovating and enhancing our processes and expertise together as a team, we strive to provide the best possible care to our patients.

We are looking for an Optometric Assistant to join our brand-new Yorkton clinic. As the customer’s first point of contact, the Optometric Assistant educates, provides service to, and organizes all patients from the initial phone conversation to filing patient records. You are also going to be responsible for the electronic management of patients’ files, for receiving and processing payments and for the administrative support of the optometrist and management team.

The successful candidate must have a demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer care, possess an outstanding attention to detail, be proficient in accurate data entry, and consider multi-tasking their second nature. Previous medical office experience is an asset, but extensive training will be provided for all industry-specific skills. Ideal candidate will have:
