Red Seal electrician

Scope of work

• Identification and troubleshooting of faults on electrical and mechanical components.
• Scheduled service and maintenance of onshore wind turbines
• Processing of service orders for wind turbines on/offshore
• Work with other team members to complete tasks efficiently.
• Complete all tasks with a strong focus on quality and safety.
• Contribute to the development of improved field procedures and best practices.
• Excellent customer service skills and communication skills are required.
• Strong ability to organize and plan daily/weekly work with a high level of quality orientation,
• Ability to analyse and resolve problems independently with a high level of results orientation

Requirements:

• Customer Specific Technical Product training to level of commissioner/TFA.
• Previous experience working as an onshore technician.
• Valid and in-date GWO’s and proactively complete further training as required.
• A strong initiative and motivation to learn new technology.
• Good computer skills
• Willing to travel.
• Must be eligible to hold a valid Passport and Driver’s License.
• Physically fit to carry out WTG related activities.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 – 65 per week

• Journeyman Electrician: 1 year (preferred)
