Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials according to specifications
- Install cabinets, doors, windows, and other fixtures
- Build scaffolding and other temporary structures
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics to determine project requirements
- Select appropriate materials and tools for each project
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects on time
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a carpenter or similar role
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and schematics
- Excellent mathematical skills for measuring and calculating dimensions
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and manual labor
- Attention to detail and precision in craftsmanship
- Good communication and teamwork skills
