Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and creative individual to join our team as a Blog Writer. As a Blog Writer, you will be responsible for creating engaging and informative content for our blog, catering to our audience's interests and needs. Your primary focus will be on writing, editing, and publishing articles using WordPress, while also incorporating ChatGPT-generated content to enhance the quality and depth of our posts. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to utilize your sense of design to enhance the visual appeal of our blog articles by adding captivating photos.

Responsibilities:

• Write high-quality, compelling blog posts on a variety of topics that align with our brand and audience interests.
• Utilize WordPress to draft, edit, and publish blog articles, ensuring they are formatted correctly and optimized for SEO.
• Collaborate with team members to brainstorm ideas for new blog content and develop content calendars.
• Incorporate ChatGPT-generated content to supplement and enhance the depth of blog articles, providing valuable insights and perspectives.
• Curate and add visually appealing photos to accompany blog posts, enhancing the overall reader experience.
• Stay updated on Montreal and Quebec City trends, news, and best practices to ensure our blog remains relevant and engaging.
• Monitor and analyze the performance of blog content using analytics tools, making data-driven decisions to optimize future content strategies.
• Maintain consistency in voice, style, and tone across all blog content, reflecting our brand identity and values.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a blog writer or content creator, with a strong portfolio of published articles.
• Proficiency in WordPress, including experience with drafting, editing, and publishing blog posts.
• Familiarity with ChatGPT or similar AI writing tools, with the ability to effectively integrate AI-generated content into blog articles.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail and grammar.
• Creative mindset with a strong sense of design, capable of selecting and incorporating visually appealing photos into blog articles.
• Ability to research and understand complex topics, distilling information into clear and engaging blog content.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
• Passion for blogging, storytelling, and creating content that resonates with readers.
• Degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not required.
