Reefer Technician (M/F)

Since 2002, Zanotti products have been distributed and sold all over Canada. The company has been part of the heavy vehicle refrigeration industry since 1997. Our mission is to provide the Canadian market with an innovative and environmentally friendly solution for all its refrigeration needs from producer to customer.

We are currently looking for Reefer Technicians at our Toronto location, ON.

BENEFIT AND SALARY:

• Salary starting at 38.00$/h, based on experience.

SKILLS SOUGHT FOR DE REEFER TECHNICIAN:

• Being thorough, paying attention to details and working cleanly is essential.
• 5 years experience with refrigeration units (transport & commercial) and/or heavy truck mechanical work.
• Toolbox with basic tools required (bonus awarded).
• ODP certification (mandatory)
• Having a good sense of organization, be farsighted and have good manual skills.
• Any other certification (an asset).
• Be in good physical condition to be able to lift loads of up to 50 lbs. To be able to perform all the movements necessary for his position, without difficulty and without aggravating a pre-existing physical condition.

TASK DESCRIPTION:

Under the supervision of our service manager & lead technician, the Reefer Technicians will work within our service department. Candidates will work on incoming service calls, both on the road and in the shop. Amongst others, their tasks include:

• Travelling on the road with our service truck to manage incoming service calls.
• Verify refrigeration units and issue diagnoses for solving the problem.
• Repair units to ensure their proper functioning.
• Install & uninstall refrigeration units on heavy trucks.
• Manage parts inventory for our service truck.
