Hourly Compensation: $45 per hour
About Us:
Join our team at one of our delivery sites in Fraser Valley area! We are seeking a highly organized and hands-on Dietitian to contribute to our daily operations. This position offers a flexible schedule, allowing you to make a meaningful impact on the nutritional well-being of our residents.
Your duties:
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to determine residents' nutritional requirements
Participate in menu development, including new and seasonal menus
Document nutrition assessments, care plans, and recommendations throughout the process
Assess nutritional needs, diet restrictions, and health plans to create personalized nutritional programs for residents
Attend care conferences to provide input on residents' nutritional status
Monitor resident satisfaction with Food and Nutrition Services and address any needs
Advise on necessary changes, including equipment, in Food and Nutrition Services
Participate in interdisciplinary care conferences and provide input or recommendations
Complete required audits as outlined in the "Summary of Required Nutrition and Food Service Audit"
Prepare monthly reports detailing clinical activities and submit to the client
Perform other related duties as requested by the manager
Qualifications:
Restricted Activities A
Food Safe Level 2
Current Professional Registration with the College of Dietitians of British Columbia
Bachelor of Science degree in Food & Nutrition from a university accredited by the College of Dietitians of British Columbia
Sound knowledge of geriatric nutrition care
