DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Facilitates a multi-disciplinary approach to resident care and fosters a collaborative working environment with residents and families.
- Ensures staff compliance with policies and procedures to meet professional and legislative requirements.
- Ensure a healthy and safe work environment by taking action to address unsafe conditions and procedures.
- Excellent organizational, observational, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong documentation skills.
- Ability to Multitask and Prioritize
- Ability to demonstrate positive and pleasant demeanor
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to handle difficult situations in a professional manner
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
- Member of College of Nurses of Ontario
- Other equivalent combination of formal training and experience may be considered.
- Recent clinical experience in long-term care setting and/or gerontological nursing.
- Demonstrated leadership and facilitation skills.
Job Type: Full-time, Part-time, Casual.
