Registered Nurse (Rn)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Facilitates a multi-disciplinary approach to resident care and fosters a collaborative working environment with residents and families.
• Ensures staff compliance with policies and procedures to meet professional and legislative requirements.
• Ensure a healthy and safe work environment by taking action to address unsafe conditions and procedures.
• Excellent organizational, observational, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong documentation skills.
• Ability to Multitask and Prioritize
• Ability to demonstrate positive and pleasant demeanor
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to handle difficult situations in a professional manner

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

• Member of College of Nurses of Ontario
• Other equivalent combination of formal training and experience may be considered.
• Recent clinical experience in long-term care setting and/or gerontological nursing.
• Demonstrated leadership and facilitation skills.

Job Type: Full-time, Part-time, Casual.

Salary: From $45

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

• Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

Experience:

• Clinical 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Registered Practical Nurse (RN) License (required)

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (required), Night shift, Evenings.

Salary: $60.00-$65.00 per hour
