Reporting to the Registered Plan team manager, the Registered Plan Administrator will be responsible for all matters related to Registered Plan administration, they will have a good knowledge of registered products including LIF, LIRA, LRIF, PRIF, RDSP, RESP, RRIF, RRSP, TFSA and FHSA's.
Description of Role
- Support advisor teams by email or phone with questions regarding client accounts and documentation.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of a complex processing team and prioritize work initiatives.
- Ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of deliverables are met within the established SLA.
- Research and respond to incoming queries from advisor branches on timely manner to meet customer needs.
- Other duties as assigned to assist with Registered Plans and recurring events team tasks.
- Provide ideas and suggestions on how to improve the service offering to the team.
- Participate in daily DMS to streamline and improve processes and ensure errors are reported and visible.
Qualifications and skills
- Experience in a similar role within a financial firm.
- Very good knowledge of financial products and services.
- Strong English and French language skills, both oral and written, due to frequent interaction with English and French-speaking colleagues and advisor teams across Canada.
- Ability to prioritize workload and manage time effectively depending on volumes.
- Motivated, self-starter with exceptional organizational skills and keen eye for details.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to prioritize work based on importance or deadlines.
- Experience with ISM/Kyndryl systems is an asset.
