About Us:

Flourish Psychotherapy is a new private practice psychotherapy clinic that just opened in Hamilton, Ontario. We are providing in-person therapy services in Downtown Central Hamilton and virtual therapy services across Ontario.

We are seeking two dedicated and compassionate Psychotherapists to join our growing team as independent contractors. As a Psychotherapist, you will play a vital role in providing mental health services to patients of all ages. You will have the opportunity to work with individuals, and couples to address a wide range of psychological concerns. If you are passionate about helping others and making a positive impact on their lives, we would love to hear from you.

At this time, we are looking for therapists who can provide both in-person and virtual services, work with individuals and/or couples, work from a trauma-informed lens, and are able to incorporate elements from various evidence-based modalities, including IFS, CBT, DBT, EFT, CPT, ACT, EMDR, Brainspotting, and Gottman.

Flourish psychotherapy is happy to offer our team members a flexible schedule, with daytime, evening, and weekend shifts available. You will be required to offer in-person therapy services in Hamilton, Ontario, at an agreed upon schedule. You will also have the opportunity to offer virtual therapy services from home on a flexible schedule. We are looking for therapists who are eager to grow and expand their caseload as our practice grows. The position is flexible and we can work with you to create YOUR dream job as a therapist.

Duties:

• Provide in-person and virtual psychotherapy services to clients, including individuals and couples, with opportunity to expand to family and group therapy if desired.
• Conduct assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress throughout the course of therapy.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
• Stay current and up-to-date with advancements in the field of psychotherapy through continuing education and professional development.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Psychology, Counselling, or a related field.
• Registration with and in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).
• Professional liability insurance.
• Ability to provide in-person services at our office located in downtown central Hamilton.
• Ability to commit to fixed in-person/office hours at an agreed upon schedule.
• Completion of continuing education or training in the therapeutic modalities that you offer to your clients.
• If working with couples; completion of level 1 and level 2 training in the Gottman Method.
• If RP (Qualifying); your own individual external supervisor.
