  • What's the Job?
    As a Regulatory Compliance Manager, Reliance Model Governance and a Regulatory Compliance Management (RCM) Team member, you will contribute to executing Coast Capital's RCM Program and be responsible for the Reliance Model program. The role's primary focus is supporting the Reliance Model's oversight functions (OF) with Regulatory Compliance risk identification, assessments, and reporting activities. You are also accountable for enhancing the Regulatory Compliance function's oversight program and practices by assessing compliance with the RCM framework, policies and regulatory requirements and supporting and training the participants of the Reliance Model.
    What You'll Get to Do
  • Provide thought leadership on resolving complex regulatory issues for Reliance Model participants.
  • Support Regulatory Compliance Management (RCM) Program regulatory oversight through research and analysis of regulatory requirements, providing effective review and challenge.
  • Oversee the RCM Reliance Model program, including preparing and presenting training, providing dedicated 2LOD oversight, maintaining an up-to-date Compliance Universe, and quarterly reporting for inclusion in the CCO Opinion report.
  • Maintain a Regulatory Change Management process for the Reliance Model universe and coordinate with QAR and Regulatory Developments Team for inclusion in downstream processes;

  • Who are we looking for?
  • Bachelor's Degree in business and risk designation or the desire to complete is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • 7 - 9 years experience in Regulatory Compliance risk management or equivalent disciplines, including execution of risk assessments, evaluation of internal controls, monitoring and testing, event and incident response, project risk management, and developing risk management infrastructure.
  • Experience with leading enterprise governance, risk and controls (GRC) tools would be an asset as a user and administrator.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Proficient in risk assessment planning, initiating, executing and reporting.
  • Proficient in internal control identification, assessment, monitoring and development.
  • Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills and comfortable in dealing with personnel from all levels of the company
  • Well-organized and highly self-motivated
  • Strong workshop facilitation and interpersonal skills
