Relief Delivery Driver

MAIN DUTIES

Occasional relief work to assist with deliveries on heavy volume days

Operate and drive cargo vehicle to pick up and deliver packages and parcels (vehicle is provided)

Load and unload cargo

Scan and sort freight or cargo for delivery

Communicate with central dispatch using mobile communications equipment

PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS

Available for on-call hours, suitable for retirees or those with flexible work schedules

Ability to work independently and problem solve

Strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills

Proper parcel handling techniques

Vehicle is provided

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS

Possess a valid Driver's Licence at all times

Ability to pick-up and deliver all packages associated to the route area or as required

Complete a criminal record check and security screening

Must be able to lift 65lbs

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Ability to meet and maintain service requirements

Perform additional pick-ups and deliveries as required

Accurate completion and daily submission of required documentation

Salary: From $150.00 per day
