Exciting Opportunity: Join Our Team as a Remote Executive Functions Coach!

Are you ready to embark on a rewarding journey of empowerment and growth? Organized Minds is seeking enthusiastic individuals with personal or professional experience in ADHD or neurodivergency to join our team as Executive Functions Coaches. If you're passionate about making a difference, possess a charming and fun personality, and thrive in a remote work environment, we want to hear from you!

Position: Remote Executive Functions Coach

Location: Fully Remote

Why Join Us?

At Organized Minds, we're not just a company; we're a community dedicated to helping neurodiverse students unlock their full potential. As a fully remote team, you'll enjoy the flexibility of working from the comfort of your own home while making a meaningful impact on the lives of our students. Plus, with our commitment to ongoing training and support, you'll have ample opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Who We Are:

Organized Minds specializes in supporting students with executive function challenges, including ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Executive Function skills are cognitive processes that all of us need in order to set and achieve goals. These skills help us to plan long-term objectives, organize, prioritize, make decisions, initiate tasks, maintain focus, tolerate stress, and regulate emotions.

Our mission is to empower these individuals to succeed in all areas of life by providing personalized coaching and support. Join us in creating a more inclusive world where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

Core Responsibilities:

As an Executive Functions Coach, you'll work with diverse learners aged 11-24, providing 1-2 sessions per week to support their growth and skill development in the following areas: criteria interpretation, chunking assignments into smaller steps, agenda use, time management, time estimation, physical organization, prioritizing and writing support (brainstorming, synthesizing ideas, outlining, sequencing, and editing), and understanding their brains. We generally do not provide tutoring for specific subjects. From teaching tools for independence to mentoring students in self-advocacy, you'll play a vital role in helping our students navigate the neurotypical world. Plus, with weekly staff meetings and ongoing training, you'll always have the support you need to excel in your role.

We value personal experience and how it will allow you to connect with your students.

This position will start off as part-time and grow into a full-time position through this school year. This will help you learn the skills and tools to be successful working with clients while growing your caseload. This is an independent contractor position.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation: $25-32/hour for student-facing hours, $20/hour for non-student-facing hours.
  • Flexible work schedule: Enjoy the freedom to set your own hours and work from anywhere with an internet connection.
  • Casual dress code: Say goodbye to stuffy office attire and hello to comfort and style.
  • On-the-job training: Gain valuable skills and experience through ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
  • Purpose-driven work: Be part of a young, growing company making a real difference in the lives of neurodiverse individuals.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Undergraduate degree or higher in education, psychology, or a related field.
  • Personal or professional experience with ADHD, learning disabilities, and/or giftedness.
  • Minimum of 1 year of educational experience, preferably in one-on-one tutoring or classroom settings.
  • Strong internet connection and access to necessary tools (computer with webcam and microphone).
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Current Criminal Record Check for vulnerable populations.
  • Fluency in English is a must. You will need to speak and understand different students with ease and clarity.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience tutoring writing.
  • Experience working in a virtual education setting.
  • Experience working with youth aged 11-24.

If you're ready to join a dynamic team of like-minded individuals and make a positive impact in the lives of neurodiverse students, apply now to become an Executive Functions Coach at Organized Minds. We can't wait to welcome you aboard!
