Repair & Maintenance Technician

Qualifications:

· Must be familiar and have knowledge of restaurant equipment

· Strong troubleshooting skills preferred

· Must possess good communication skills both verbal and written

· Must be able to demonstrate multi-tasking skills

· Must be well organized and able to work with minimal supervision

· Must be able to use basic hand tools and power tools

· Must practice safe work habits (housekeeping, hazard identification)

· Must be willing to work all shifts; must be willing to change shifts with reasonable notice

· Maintain a valid drivers licence

Responsibilities

· Perform regular scheduled preventative maintenance on all equipment

· Maintain and repair HVAC systems

· Troubleshoot minor machine problems

· Replace and/or repair defective and worn parts

· Must ensure that work is performed in a timely manner and least disruptive to production - minimizes

downtime

· Must ensure that work is organized in a manner to ensure employee safety is not compromised

· Must be able to complete a variety of renovation tasks (ie, drywall, painting, minor carpentry and

masonry work)

· Able to perform minor plumbing maintenance

· Able to perform minor electrical maintenance

· Able to perform power washing of buildings, sidewalks etc.

· Has on call responsibility to respond to off-hours emergencies (when needed)

· Miscellaneous duties as required
