Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and assistance to residents in an assisted living facility or nursing home setting
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and document administration accurately
- Monitor residents' health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate medical personnel
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure residents' dietary needs are met
- Provide companionship and engage residents in social activities
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
Experience:
- Previous experience in senior care or caregiving is preferred
- Knowledge of dementia care techniques is a plus
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols
- Understanding of the unique needs and challenges of individuals in assisted living or nursing home settings
