In 2022 Huron House coined the concept of Mentalhealth+.
Mentalhealth+ is the idea of reducing barriers to treatment and giving individuals a voice, by building collaborative, inclusive, diverse, and highly individualized support plans in tandem with the child or youth’s circle of care.
We are recruiting to add to our team; individuals with the skills, motivation, and desire to change the way mental health care is offered.
Like any great team, a successful team requires many different types of players with skills and unique abilities, whether you use a sports team analogy or the Avengers.
In this Residential Counsellor I– we are looking for team members who have some experience and have been in situations where they have had to deal with stressful situations, are great at receiving directions, and work in small teams. Experience working with youth, children, or adults and understanding of mental health are also important.
