The RESORT G&M Caretaker is responsible to the Board of Directors for overseeing all the grounds, maintenance, facility, security, safety aspects of the Resort, hiring and training relevant staff, ordering relevant supplies, overseeing assets & tools, and managing the relevant budget.
The ideal candidate will have an appropriate technical qualification in the trades, with solid transferable experience, preferably within the hospitality industry, in all aspects of G&M.
The successful candidate will be comfortable leading in a busy customer focused environment during the summer season, most likely requiring extra hours, with compensating time off in the quieter winter months.
The position is a 0.7FTE with a remuneration package of $37,000 per annum plus a performance bonus. The position also comes with a spot to park an RV/trailer at the Resort.
