Job description

FOUR Nature Resort is a privately owned quiet and peaceful rural environment accommodating up to 100 guests. As an Operations Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our establishment. Your responsibilities will encompass various facets of small business operations , including but not limited to housekeeping, daily supervision, staff training, scheduling, guest services, inventory, event planning, customer relationship management, and enforcement of policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Supervision: Provide daily supervision and support to 1-6 staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Staff Training: Conduct training sessions for staff members to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively.

Scheduling and Timesheets: Manage staff scheduling and timesheets, ensuring adequate coverage and accuracy in timekeeping records.

Guest Communication: Handle phone calls and emails from guests, addressing inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally.

Guest Services: Oversee guest check-in and check-out processes, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience for all guests.

Inventory: Observe inventory levels for supplies, ensuring adequate stock.

Customer Relationships: Maintain and update the guest and vendor database with preferences, and feedback for future reference.

Task Coordination: Coordinate tasks and workflows for housekeeping and groundskeeping staff, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and timely completion of tasks.

Supporting Role: Fill in and support various roles within the establishment as necessary to address guest needs, special requests, and reception duties.

Sales and Promotion: Assist with sales and promotional activities, promoting the establishment's offerings and services to guests and potential customers.

Enforcement of Policies and Procedures: Enforce company policies and safety processes among staff members, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.

Requirements:

  • Education and experience in working and supervising various hospitality roles
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in time management and prioritization
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Bilingualism is an asset
